We hope we have extended you a well-rounded glimpse into some of the various projects that we have provided our customers over the years.

I am Mark Taylor, proud owner of Architectural Awning Company, where I have had the distinct privilege of selling, designing and installing custom awnings for many satisfied customers.

I would be pleased to share a little history with you, so that you will know just where my enthusiasm and knowledge for this product began.

My first exposure to the awning industry in 1984, was with a family owned outfit in Ohio. From my first day to my departure to Colorado, I was involved in all facets of manufacturing. That is to say: sewing, welding, fabrication and installation.

It was in Colorado that I worked for many of our current competitors in sales, having had all the “back of the house” experience to glean from. It was during this time that I formed an opinion that an exacting quality and proficient service was lacking in the Colorado market.

On a mission, in 1994 I joined forces with several associates who were as confident, as I, in my keen eye for detail and predication, and we became Architectural Awning Company. I don’t mind saying what a great opportunity that was.

As the partners had their own family business endeavors, we soon decided to very amicably part company, allowing Architectural Awning Company to become a family owned operation as well.

It was through this journey that I gained extensive knowledge about every aspect of producing a product that I feel good about presenting to you. Having worked, hands on, with all the materials that make up the final product allows me a complete understanding in which to create a well crafted awning.
